There is a point where feeding and overseeding stop paying. Shade that killed the turf out, ruts left by construction, a strip along the drive that never came back, or a lawn so thin the weeds outnumber the grass. Sod gives you a finished lawn the day it goes down instead of a season of waiting.
We will also tell you when sod is the wrong answer. Grass laid over ground that drains badly or sits in deep shade fails the same way the last lawn did.
Most of the labour is before the first roll is placed. Dead turf and debris come out, the ground gets graded so water runs away from the house and the surface sits level with walks and driveways, then sod is laid tight with staggered seams and cut in cleanly along beds.

New sod lives or dies on water in the first weeks. It needs soaking daily at first, and staying off it while the roots take. We will walk you through it before we finish up, but no installer controls what happens after the truck pulls away.
